about

Last year Cindy Lawson released her first album in 25 years to rave reviews:
"She's got wisdom, she's got talent, and she's got that voice. All over the world, people are hearing tracks from New Tricks on underground radio shows and saying, "Wow, who is that?!" Lord Rutledge, Faster and Louder
"How it Feels is all about loud, huge riffs and a mean rhythm section. If How if Feels signifies Cindy Lawson's return to rock and roll, the world can only welcome her warmly" WoNoBlog The official blog of WoNo magazine
"Minneapolis rock pioneer Cindy Lawson is back, and she means business." Chris Riemenschneider, Minneapolis Star Tribune
On April 7th she'll be releasing the widely anticipated first single from her upcoming album "Don't Come Crying to Me". It's a high-octave power pop song filled with the best kind of guitar riffs and drum fills alongside a 60's inspired melody. The video for this song will be released on April 12th.
Cindy will be celebrating the single release at a show at the White Squirrel in St. Paul on April 15 with special guests The Unnamed and Rebecca Fritz of Muskellunge.

lyrics

I see you lying
Don't come crying to me
I see you lying
Don't come crying to me
I'll just watch while you dig deeper down
I'll just watch while you become a clown
Now the walls are closing in
And we'll see just how you spin
